The Oaks Fellowship in Red Oak, Texas, is a church of approximately 3,000 with two campuses and the desire to launch several more. Oaks Fellowship is unique because of its Life School, which is a state-funded charter school (grades K-8).
Having experienced incredible growth over the past several years, The Oaks Fellowship asked CHANGEffect to come in and help articulate a big vision and exciting future. Our process included an on-site visit, leadership interviews, stakeholder survey and ideation session. The story was finalized through a collaborative effort. The final product is a brand and position that truly sets The Oaks apart from other churches in the area.

The leadership team in place was suffering communication issues and segmentation of leadership, creating low morale and burnout.
The CHANGEffect:
CHANGEffect partnered with The Oaks to restructure their leadership team to better serve the current campuses while preparing for the addition of future campuses. After developing the new structure, we worked with the senior leader to implement these changes over several months to ensure that the executive team members were in positions appropriate for their experience and abilities, and that each team member had a clear understanding his or her roles and responsibilities. The two major changes were the Adult Ministries Pastor moving into the Executive Pastor role, and the establishment of a transition team that was made up of leaders from across the church that would work with the Executive Pastor and Senior Pastor to help the church adjust to its growth.
