NIM is a new company, less than a year old. It was established initially to take advantage of an exclusive contract with Focus On The Family to sell advertising space in all their media. It has since come to represent several companies and organizations. It was founded on the principle that it would claim media for common good … to help make this world a better place. The name New Iron Media was chosen because it is a figurative metaphor for the dominant technology throughout history. Those who controlled the iron to make tools and weapons in ancient cultures were dominant.
