Story
In this story process, we needed to honor the strong history at Moody Bible Institute and find language to clearly express the essence of where they have come, who they are and where they want to go in the future. The discovery work was done primarily through interviews and an on-site ideation session with key stakeholders, including the entire executive team. After listening, we delivered the story shown here, culminating with the tagline: From the Word. To Life. This updated positioning has supported Moody’s efforts to rethink internal process and tactical strategy, allowing them to move forward with unity and confidence. This positioning immediately served as the foundation for the website design and development project.

Culture
During the discovery process it was assessed that Moody Radio, with its many stations that it owned and operated, had multiple underlying culture problems including decentralized communication, future destination and consistent leadership process.
The CHANGEffect:
During the Ideation Session, we brought up these internal issues with the group. As a result, the Vice President of Moody Radio changed the managers of his leadership team, established communications with the station managers across the country on a monthly basis and integrated discussions about internal Moody organization developments in monthly management meetings.
Expression
Our creative work has centered around the Moody websites—which are huge projects. With multiple websites, including a full college (undergraduate and graduate, online registration, distance learning classes and more), a broadcasting division with partners all over the country, a publishing division that requires a full online bookstore, not to mention conferences and other facets, we’ve gotten to know the ins and outs of Moody. Through implementing an integrated, enterprise-level content management system, we’re providing a sustainable web solution for Moody that has changed the way they interact with the world. We’re not even done with all of the websites yet, but the effect of our work has brought lots of good change to their organization.
